Wine lovers, rejoice! It’s almost time for the annual International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration. Every July, this fabulous festival celebrates the unique cool climate of Niagara and its outstanding wines. With more than 130 cool climate wines to taste, it’s an excellent way to sample some of Niagara’s best wines.
This year features some of our favourite local wineries, including Cave Spring Vineyard, Chateau des Charmes, and The Foreign Affair Winery. These award-winning vineyards produce some of the finest wine in the region. Be sure to sample their remarkable chardonnays and sparkling wines during your visit! Cave Spring Vineyard’s 2021 Chardonnay CSV and the 2022 Chardonnay from The Foreign Affair Winery are among our favourites.

2024 Music Niagara Festival

Known for showcasing incredible talent for nearly three decades, the Music Niagara Festival is the highlight of the summer for many music lovers. Now in its twenty-sixth season, Music Niagara features renowned Canadian and international musicians from a variety of genres. This year sees artists like the Toronto All-Star Big Band and The Fitzgeralds take the stage for an evening of extraordinary music.
Music Niagara also hosts a Performance Academy each summer, where gifted young musicians can receive one-of-a-kind instruction in a full spectrum of performance arts from the talented professionals of the Shaw Festival. Through solo and group practice, the Academy seeks to educate and nurture young artists to reach their full potential. Attending the festival is a great way to support this youth initiative!
The Music Niagara 2024 Festival runs until August 16 at a variety of beautiful venues around Niagara-on-the-Lake.
