Put some extra cheer in the holiday season with this delicious festive holiday cocktail. It is a refreshing, festive twist on the classic margarita with cranberry juice acting as the star ingredient. Ensure to have extra cranberries, lime wedges and rosemary on hand to make this cocktail a visual delight.

Christmas Margarita 

Ingredients:

2.5 oz Cranberry juice (for a “white” Christmas margarita, substitute for white cranberry juice)
1.5 oz Tequila of choice (we used Espolon Blanco)
0.5 oz Cointreau
0.5 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice

Method:

  1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip in course salt.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all the ingredients. Shake to combine.
  3. Strain over ice into rocks glass over the prepared garnish.
  4. Garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs.
