Snowball Margarita

A fun Holiday cocktail to serve at your next gathering that will even put a smile on the Grinch’s face!

Ingredients:

2 oz your favorite Tequila (preferably a reposado)
2 oz Cream of coconut (Coco Lopez or other brand)
1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz Cointreau or other orange liquor
½ oz Rosemary simple syrup
Course sea salt for rim (optional)

Ingredients for rosemary simple syrup:

Rosemary sprigs
1 cup Water
1 cup White sugar

Method for Rosemary simple syrup:

  1. Bring the water, sugar, and rosemary to a low boil over medium heat.
  2. Once all the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Once cooled down, stain into an airtight container and keep in the fridge. Can last up to two weeks.

Method:

  1. Add tequila, cream of coconut, orange liquor, lime juice, and rosemary simple syrup into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until well chilled (about 30 seconds).
  3. Rim your glass with the sea salt buy using half a lime to rub the edge of the glass (optional step).
  4. Dip the glass onto a plate holding the sea salt.
  5. Pour the cocktail into a glass and enjoy!

Cozy Christmas

Warm up your holiday season with a cozy Christmas cocktail featuring Rum Chata and a hint of dark chocolate. Perfect for unwinding and spreading a bit of holiday cheer. 

Compliments of Food & Beverage Manager Ferdinand Don Griot from Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing

Ingredients:

1oz Rum Chata
½ oz Captain Morgan spice rum
½ oz Frangelico
½ oz Kahlua 
1oz Half and half cream
4 Dashes of Aztec dark chocolate bitters
Garnish with shaved cinnamon sprinkle and a cinnamon stick

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake for 20 seconds. 
  3. Score a cinnamon stick with a small butane torch and place the glass over it while it exudes a small amount of smoke.
  4. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with shaved cinnamon and scored cinnamon stick. 

White Chocolate Snowflake Martini

Add a touch of elegance to your Christmas party with a white chocolate snowflake martini, a creamy and delicious holiday treat.

Ingredients:

1 oz Vanilla vodka
1 oz Crème de Cacao
1 oz Forty Creek cream         
2 oz Cream
Dark chocolate stick for garnish

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds to froth.
  3. Rim the glass with chocolate powder.
  4. Strain into the glass and add a chocolate stick for garnish.
